Black History Month events continue this weekend with a showing of "Marshall" at 5:00 pm, Saturday, Feb. 10, at the MLK Jr. Center. “Marshall” tells the story of a young Thurgood Marshall, the first African-American Supreme Court Justice, as he battles through one of his career-defining cases. Refreshments will be served. Children 13 and younger must be accompanied by parents.

The MLK Jr. Center will host a Blood Drive Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 2:00 to 6:30 pm. Donors will be placed in a drawing to win tickets to “A Temptations Revue featuring Bo Henderson” at the Broyhill Civic Center Thursday, Feb. 15, at 7:30 pm.

The Quiz Bowl and Essay Contest will be Thursday, Feb. 22, at 6:00 pm.
