False Alarm Reduction Program

The City of Lenoir Police Department asks all property owners with alarm systems to download, complete, and submit an Alarm Registration form. Each form will need to be notarized before the department can register your alarm. Police Department staff can help notarize the forms. 

The purpose of the Alarm Registration program is to reduce the number of false alarm calls, which take up time and resources that could be spent patrolling the city or answering other legitimate calls. \he program is voluntary.

CivicReady

The City of Lenoir partners with Caldwell County to provide CivicReady alerts to residents.

Sign up to receive emergency alerts about health and safety issues as well as general notifications via text message, email, and / or phone call. 

Examples of messages sent through CivicReady include:

  • Emergency Alerts
  • General notifications
  • Weather Alerts from the National Weather Service

Click the following link to sign up for CivicReady alerts or modify your existing CivicReady account, Caldwell County Alerts. The signup page will say "Caldwell County Alerts" at the top.
