We have a new website! New notifications! And a lot of events happening this summer!

New Website and Notify Me

If you haven't noticed, we have a new website for the City. We launched the site July 15, 2019. One great feature of the site is "Notify Me." Now, you can sign up to receive a text or email as soon as we post updates to content that changes on a regular basis. When we post a new job, you'll get a text or email. If you sign up for event, you'll get a reminder about the event a couple days in advance. If your child is playing youth ball, sign up to recieve reminders of upcoming games.

Baseball and Softball Registration

Fall Baseball and Softball Registration will be July 22, 2019 to August 16, 2019. Baseball will be ages 6-12 and Softball will be ages 8-12. Cost is $25 for City of Lenoir Residents/$50 for Non-City Residents More information at

Don’t Worry Be HOPPY! End of Summer Bash, Friday, August 16. Crawford & Power was born of red clay, back roads, callouses, and ingenuity passed down from mash makers. With roots in country, Americana, and southern rock, they seek to spawn a classic country music revival with a splash of sweet iced tea and whiskey. Their unique approach to a fading genre has been lauded as a breath of fresh air amidst the commercialization of sacred American music genres.

Carolina Tattoo and Arts Gathering, Friday, August 30. The City of Lenoir boasts of many innovative and tatented artists. Carolina Tattoo and Arts Gathering is the city's is the only tattoo convention featuring local artists as well as 60 world renowned tattoo artists. Dedicated owner and artist Chris Hollifield has 23 years of experience as an artist and shop owner in Caldwell county. Carolina Tattoo and Arts Gathering features fantastic food from local vendors on site, including true southern BBQ, burgers, chicken and much more. Great bartenders serve signature cocktails and the show features live music daily.
