Christmas Parade application available online

Christmas is a few months away, but a lot of folks are already feeling the holiday spirit. They're in luck, because we just posted the application for The City of Lenoir Starry Night Christmas Parade!

The theme this year is "The Stars of Christmas." Who are the shining stars of your holidays? If you like, choose your favorite star or stars and decorate your float in their honor. Maybe it's the Three Wise Men, Rudolph, Jimmy Stewart, or the Hibriten Star. The City of Lenoir Starry Night Christmas Parade is a nighttime parade, so be sure to use lots of lights on your floats and vehicles.

Entries submitted by 5:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15 are eligible for standard entry fee. Entries received after that time will be subject to the Late Registration fee. Staff will not accept entries after 5:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2019.

Visit cityoflenoir.com/christmasparade to download the parade application, read some do's and don't's, and view the parade route.

The City of Lenoir Starry Night Christmas Parade will be Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. in Downtown Lenoir.
