Staff at the Lenoir Aquatic & Fitness Center are hosting four sessions of swim lessons in July. Children ages 4 to 12 years old can sign up. The lessons start next week.
The Preschool lessons are for 4 and 5 year olds, and the Learn-to-Swim lessons are for kiddos ages 6 to 12. There classes available are:
- Preschool Level 1
- Preschool Level 2
- Learn-to-Swim Level 1
- Learn-to-Swim Level 2
The weeklong sessions will be held July 10 and 12-14, from 5:30 - 6:30 pm, and July 17-21, July 24-28, and July 31-Aug. 3 from 5:45 to 6:30 pm.
There is a maximum of five children per class, and the lessons will last 45 minutes to an hour depending on the week.
The cost is $20.00 for members, $30.00 for City residents, and $50.00 for non-City residents. Parents must sign up in person at the Lenoir Aquatic & Fitness Center.
