City of Lenoir facilities will be closed Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, in celebration of Labor Day. Garbage pickup will be affected.
City Hall, Lenoir Aquatic & Fitness Center, Martin Luther King Jr. Center, Mulberry Recreation Center, and the Recycling Center will be closed Monday.
Sanitation Division staff will not collect garbage Monday, Sept. 4. Monday's garbage route will be picked up on Wednesday, Sept. 6. All other household garbage pickups will remain on a normal schedule Labor Day week. There will be no bulk collection Labor Day week.
