Meleah Mikeal Half Marathon

Named after Meleah Mikeal, this 5K/10K/Half Marathon is held annually in the fall. It is the last of three footraces that comprise the Lenoir Triple Crown.

Awards

Participants will receive a finisher’s medal (1/2 marathon only) and a T shirt!

About Meleah Mikeal

Meleah Mikeal worked at the Lenoir Aquatic & Fitness from 2000 to 20112, and served the facility manager from 2006 to 2012. An avid runner, Meleah was diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease, in 2012. The Meleah Mikeal Half Marathon is named in her honor.
